Mo Alie-Cox Gets Green Light To Play Thursday
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox (knee) has been given the thumbs up to take the field Thursday against Tennessee and should see a sizable role with Jack Doyle (concussion) out of the mix. Alie-Cox has blossomed as a favored red-zone target for quarterback Philip Rivers, having hauled in two touchdown catches this year while also having his first 100-yard game to his credit back in Week 2. Still, Alie-Cox represents a roll-of-the-dice season-long asset due to both the emergence of Trey Burton and the health of T.Y. Hilton, who will also be suiting up Thursday. For those fantasy managers eyeing low-priced, touchdown-dependent targets for single-game DFS contests, Alie-Cox is an option, albeit a risky one.
