4 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Mohamed Sanu was added to the active roster Saturday as the team deals with injuries to wide receivers Kenny Golladay (hip) and Danny Amendola (hip). Sanu appeared in three games with the 49ers earlier this year, but made just one reception for nine yards. Even with WR targets up for grabs against a Panthers Defense that has allowed a considerable amount of fantasy points to opposing wideouts this year, Sanu can likely remain on the waiver wire until he proves part of the week-by-week puzzle for Detroit. Aggressive fantasy managers in deep season-long formats will note that the Lions have a quick turnaround before playing again on Thanksgiving, giving Sanu a chance to establish a role with another franchise down the stretch.--Jesse Borek
