4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mohamed Sanu is expected to make his debut with the team in Week 2 against the Jets. Sanu last played with the Falcons and Patriots in 2019, where he accumulated 520 receiving yards on 89 targets across 12 starts. The veteran receiver's arrival comes at a good time for a 49ers team dealing with injuries to two of their top pass-catchers, George Kittle (knee) and Deebo Samuel (foot). Sanu's familiarity with Kyle Shanahan should help him get acclimated to San Francisco's offense more quickly, making him a sneaky play in deeper leagues, especially with dates against the Jets and Giants coming up.--Tim Capurso
