3 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Monte Harrison was optioned back to Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday, according to David Wilson of the Miami Herald. The move was made to create room for starting pitcher Nick Neidert, who was recalled from Triple-A and will start for the Marlins on Wednesday. Harrison has appeared in nine games with Miami this year and he is 2-for-10 at the plate with a double and three strikeouts. He's been doing better in the minors this year, where over 32 games between Single-A and Triple-A, Harrison is slashing .259/.331/.431 with four home runs, eight steals, 16 RBI and 17 runs scored. If Harrison can ever reach his potential in the majors he could be a useful fantasy option, but until then managers can leave him on the waiver wire.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
