7 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts left Saturday's game with a left foot contusion, according to Conor Ryan of MassLive.com. Betts injured his foot in a home plate collision with Chance Sisco in the first inning. He stayed in the game before ultimately leaving the game after the third. X-rays came back negative and Betts is considered day-to-day. Assume he will not play on Sunday. We will likely get word Sunday stating whether Betts will play on Monday. Even if only a day, the Red Sox will miss Betts at the top of the lineup.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
