Mookie Betts Drives In Two In Extras
6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts finished 3-for-5, with two runs batted in, a walk, and a run scored in Sunday's extra-inning victory over Baltimore. Betts recorded his first triple of the year, in the ninth inning, but his big moment of the game was in the 10th when he notched a two-RBI single. June hasn't been kind to Betts, as he's hitting just .207 with two homers and six RBI. However, at the leadoff spot, Betts has been great, recording a walk in six straight contests, for a .361 OBP in June. On the year, he's slashing .266/.387/.456 with 11 home runs and 33 RBI. Despite the struggles at the plate this month, Betts should still be considered a must start and is a hot streak away from fantasy dominance.
