3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts (hip) left Saturday's matchup against the Colorado Rockies with right hip irritation. Before his departure, the 28-year-old was having a solid evening with a home run and three doubles, but the injury was too much to overcome. More information is likely to come soon, although it wouldn't be a surprise if Betts wasn't in the lineup on Sunday for the series finale. Betts got off to a slow start this year and has dealt with other injuries, but he's been hot of late, so hopefully this doesn't knock him out for an extended amount of time. If it does, some combination of Zack McKinstry, Matt Beaty and Chris Taylor could fill in out in right field.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
