Mookie Betts Goes Yard In Victory
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts went 1-for-2 with two runs, two walks and solo home run in Tuesday's victory versus the Atlanta Braves. Betts did a little bit of everything in the contest and looked healthy in the process. The superstar recently returned from a hip injury that his troubled him throughout the season and he has been banged up this season with a number of stints on the injured list. At this point in the season, managers just need Betts to be healthy and active with the playoffs slowly approaching. With the Dodgers deadline acquisition of middle infielder Trea Turner, Betts has moved from the top spot in the order to the No. 3 spot and should see an increased amount of RBI opportunities. For the season, Betts is hitting .272 with 19 home runs, 46 RBI and seven stolen bases.
