5 years agoBoston Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts finished 1-for-5 on Monday, in a 12-2 win over Toronto. The reigning American League MVP is riding a modest five-game hitting streak, and has a hit in 10 of his last 11 games. Betts hasn't hit a home run since May 8, but he does have three doubles to go with four runs batted in, and 15 runs scored in the same stretch. His season on-base percentage is still north of .440 (.403) and his ISO is .193, so his power numbers should begin to ascend very soon. The 26-year-old is still one of the safest fantasy players around and will remain in your everyday lineups for the entire year, barring injury.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
