3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts went 2-for-4 with a home run, a stolen base, a walk, one RBI and two runs scored in a 6-3 win over the Pirates on Thursday. It was Betts' sixth homer and sixth steal of the season, as he is now slashing .255/.366/.447 with 22 RBI and 34 runs scored over 52 games. After a sluggish start to the year, Betts is starting to heat up a bit at the plate, as he is now slashing .263/.382/.456 over his last 15 games. To say it's been a disappointing year for Betts is an understatement, but managers should continue to hope that he can start clicking at the plate and put up better numbers in the second half of the season.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
