Mookie Betts Starting To Warm Up
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts had a nice night in Wednesday's blowout victory versus the St. Louis Cardinals. Betts went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a pair of RBI. Betts hasn't been putting up the numbers that managers expected when they picked him near the top of drafts this season, but he has now hit .286 with four RBI over the last two weeks. Hopefully the power will follow and a breakout is underway. He is now hitting .264 with five home runs, 20 RBI and five stolen bases for the season. The buy low window could be coming to a close and managers should check in on his value from managers that have been frustrated with the perennial All-Star. Betts will look to keep it going on Friday versus the Atlanta Braves and Ian Anderson.
