6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts (side) will remain out of the lineup on Thursday when the Red Sox take on the Houston Astros. Betts has been dealing with left side tightness for the past week. Manager Alex Cora said that if the games were in September, then Betts would be playing, so that is some consolation for fantasy owners. Brock Holt will be getting the start in right field and is batting seventh. Utility man Eduardo Nunez is also missing Thursday's contest, as he has been squeezed out of the lineup with Dustin Pedroia's return. The general consensus is that Betts will be back any day now, so fantasy owners should not have to wait much longer to get the American League MVP candidate back into their lineups.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
