Mookie Betts To Play In Simulated Game Sunday

3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts (hip) will play in a simulated game on Sunday, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. Betts has been sidelined for over a week now as he continues to deal with a bone spur on his hip that has caused him issues all season long. Plunkett reports that Betts will participate in more activities on Monday and Tuesday, and the team is still discussing whether or not he will require a rehab assignment. If things continue to progress the way they have so far, it appears that Betts could be activated sometime late next week.
