3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts (hip) will resume baseball activities on Thursday, according to Juan Toribio of MLB.com. Betts has been on the injured list for almost a week now, as he is dealing with a bone spur in his hip that has been plaguing him all season long. He received a cortisone shot last week, and while it's a good sign for him to begin resuming baseball activities, there's still no timetable for his return to action. Betts had begun to heat up at the plate recently, but he's now landed on the injured list twice since the All-Star break. Managers will hope that he can make a quick return to action, and they'll have to continue to stash him on the injured list.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
