6 years agoColorado Avalanche left wing Gabriel Landeskog picked up a power-play goal with an assist and a plus-one rating while posting four shots on net in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss against the New York Rangers. He also picked up a double-minor penalty while winning six of his nine faceoff chances. The 25-year-old Swede has registered points in back-to-back games, and the power-play marker was his first point on the man advantage through six games this season. He has been positive in the plus/minus rating category in five of his six outings to date.--Daniel Dobish
