Myjai Sanders Gets His Weight Back Up
3 years agoCincinnati defensive end Myjai Sanders was battling a sickness during the combine in February that knocked him down to 228 pounds, but he weighed in at 248.5 pounds on Thursday at his school's Pro Day. He had dinner with Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin on Wednesday and did defensive line and linebacker drills on Thursday. Sanders' combine numbers were drastically affected by his illness, so he should be rising back up draft boards now that his weight is back up. The 22-year-old pass-rusher stood out at the Senior Bowl and finished his senior year with 17 solo tackles (7.5 for loss), 2.5 sacks, five passes defensed and one fumble recovery in 14 games for the Bearcats.
