Myles Straw's Speed Making Him Valuable
3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Myles Straw is batting second Sunday against Cleveland Indians right-hander Cal Quantrill. The 26-year-old has earned consistent at-bats due to injuries and his ability to patrol center field. Straw has picked up some hits along the way recently, slashing .333/.446/.426 over his past 15 games. He provides zero power with a .338 slugging percentage through 272 at-bats, making him best suited for deep and AL-only leagues, especially those where his fantasy managers are light on steals. Straw has swiped 13 bags on the year, including three in his past seven games.
