Najee Harris Will Start Sunday’s Preseason Finale
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (foot) has been given the green light to suit up for Sunday's preseason finale against the Lions. Harris had been held out of the first two preseason contests as the team attempts to manage his workload following a rookie campaign that saw him lead the league in touches (381). It's unlikely that Harris will garner significant snaps in the Steelers' final tuneup, which should pave the way for backfield mates Benny Snell Jr., Anthony McFarland Jr. and Jaylen Warren to see sizable workloads. After a Pro Bowl selection in his first year that saw him amass 1,200 rushing yards and 10 total touchdowns, Harris will be a hot commodity in fantasy drafts and a surefire first-round selection. He opens the season Sept. 11 at Cincinnati.
