3 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe isn't starting on Wednesday against the Seattle Mariners and left-hander Marco Gonzales. Lowe has been one of Texas' best hitters this season, batting .248 with a .345 on-base percentage, 12 home runs, and six stolen bases in 475 plate appearances. However, it'll be Charlie Culberson starting at first base and batting sixth against Gonzales. The 32-year-old is hitting .249 with a .304 on-base percentage, four home runs, and seven stolen bases in 231 plate appearances this season.
