5 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Nate Pearson dazzled in his second spring outing on Sunday, firing two perfect frames against all projected Pirates starters. He hit 100 MPH with his fastball on multiple occasions as he made relatively short work of his opponents, striking out a pair in the 20-pitch effort. Pearson won't break camp with the big-league club, but will surely make his presence in the majors at some point this season. The right-hander makes one of the more intriguing pitching prospects to follow this season, but managers in redraft leagues should temper their expectations in 2020 with just three Triple-A starts under his belt.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
