Nate Pearson Returns Thursday, Will Work In Relief
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays right-handed pitcher Nate Pearson (elbow) was activated off of the injured list prior to Thursday’s contest versus the Yankees. Pearson, the club’s top prospect per MLB Pipeline, will work out of the bullpen after tightness in his pitching elbow shut him down for the past month. In four starts this year for the Blue Jays, Pearson compiled a 6.61 ERA, yet held opposing batters to a .213 average. His stuff figures to work at the big league level for years to come, but he likely holds little fantasy intrigue over the final few days of 2020 and from a DFS perspective during the playoffs.
