4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Nate Pearson (shoulder) will miss his next start with Triple-A Buffalo due to a mild shoulder impingement, according to Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun. After getting rocked in his start on Sunday against the Astros, Pearson was optioned to Triple-A on Tuesday, and now with the injury and scratched start it's worth wondering if maybe the shoulder issue affected his performance on Sunday. Pearson is the top pitching prospect in Toronto's system, and managers will hope that when he's healthy he can show the high strikeout potential that he has displayed in the minors.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
