Nathan Eovaldi Cannot Escape Second Inning Tuesday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi turned in a very poor start in Tuesday's 13-4 loss to the Astros. Eovaldi lasted just 1 2/3 innings, allowing nine runs (six earned) on eight hits (including five home runs) and no walks with no strikeouts. This was certainly a start to forget for Eovaldi and fantasy managers but appears to be just a bad outlier, as he had a strong 3.15 ERA over sever starts coming into this one. He will look to get back on track in his next start in a decent matchup against the Mariners at home.
