2 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi (back) has a chance of returning from the injured list on Friday, according to manager Alex Cora. The 32-year-old has been sidelined since June 12 due to back inflammation. Eovaldi looked fine during his rehab start on Sunday, so that's good news for fantasy managers. It sounds like Eovaldi could return for Friday's game against the New York Yankees. However, Eovaldi would likely have a pitch count during his first game back. This wouldn't be an ideal matchup for Eovaldi against the Yankees tough lineup.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
