3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi had another outstanding outing Thursday, and appears to be emerging as Boston's ace while Chris Sale remains out. Eovaldi allowed no runs on five hits and no walks while striking out six in seven innings. His record now sits at 9-4 on the year. Over his last seven starts, Eovaldi has pitched to a 2.13 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with 39 strikeouts in 42 1/3 innings. His partnership with Connor Wong has been especially effective in his last two starts, and he should be rostered going forward.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
