2 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi (shoulder) threw a couple days ago, but he isn't progressing as quickly as the team had hoped. Eovaldi tossed a bullpen session on Monday and was preparing to face live hitters next, but the team will pump the brakes on that for now. The 32-year-old is running out of time to make much more of an impact for his fantasy managers, but there's still a little bit more time for him to be able to return down the stretch. In 18 starts for the BoSox in 2022, he's gone 5-3 with a 4.15 ERA (4.51 FIP), 1.26 WHIP, 96 strikeouts and 18 walks in 99 2/3 innings pitched.
