Nathan Eovaldi Rebounds With Strong Start Monday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi delivered a much-needed quality start Monday, throwing 6 2/3 scoreless innings against the Toronto Blue Jays. He allowed three hits and a walk and struck out four batters. He was forced to take a no-decision after Matt Barnes blew the save with two outs in the top of the ninth inning. Eovaldi has been serviceable all year, with a 3.76 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 74 strikeouts in 79 innings. He's a solid streaming option.
