Nathan Eovaldi Takes Fourth Loss Sunday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi took the loss Sunday against the Kansas City Royals, dropping his record on the season to 7-4. He allowed four runs (three earned) in four innings on seven hits and one walk. He struck out four batters. Eovaldi pitched better than that line indicated, as his defense did him no favors, but nevertheless his ERA and WHIP increased to 3.90 and 1.27 on the year. Eovaldi remains a solid if not spectacular fantasy option.
