Nathan Eovaldi Takes Loss In Solid Outing
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi took his eighth loss of the season in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the New York Yankees despite pitching well. He allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk in five innings while striking out six. Both runs against him came via the long ball, off the bats of Luke Voit and Giancarlo Stanton. Eovaldi deserves better than his 10-8 record, with a solid 3.91 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 140 strikeouts in 138 innings. He's a solid fantasy rotation option in leagues of all sizes.
