Nathan Eovaldi Throwing Again
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi (elbow) began throwing again following his surgery to remove loose bodies from his elbow three weeks ago. He’s still about a month away from returning and there are valid questions of his effectiveness upon return. His ownership in Yahoo leagues has dropped to 40 percent, but he’s a solid stash with upside for wins. He should have the value of a back-end starter upon return and would be a definite add or stash in deeper leagues. In his four starts this year he had a 6.00 ERA and 1.52 WHIP with 16 strikeouts in 21 innings.
