3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi threw a gem Wednesday, throwing seven innings of shutout ball on three hits and two walks against the Tampa Bay Rays. He struck out eight batters. Eovaldi now has three quality starts in his last four outings, with a total of five runs against him in those 25 2/3 innings. With a 3.72 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 171 strikeouts in 163 2/3 innings, Eovaldi contributes in every category and should be a very reliable option the rest of the way.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
