3 years agoColorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon tallied three assists as the team took down San Jose 5-3 on Friday. This is his third three-point outing in six games and MacKinnon has collected 23 points across his last 16 outings. MacKinnon has had some health issues in 2021-22, but he's having another spectacular campaign with 66 points in 47 games. He's managed to record the second-most points per game (1.40) in the league, behind only Connor McDavid (1.45). MacKinnon's hot form is also paying off for his linemates Mikko Rantanen and Valeri Nichushkin, who recently joined the top line and scored twice in Friday's victory.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
