Nationals Announce Starts For Patrick Corbin, Joe Ross
4 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Patrick Corbin will get the start on Saturday against the Marlins, while Joe Ross will likely start Tuesday's game against the Braves, according to Maria Torres of The Athletic. The Nationals have had to make some changes to their rotation schedule following the activation of Jon Lester from the COVID-19 injured list, as he will start the opener with Miami on Friday night. Corbin has struggled in four starts this year, going 0-3 with a 10.47 ERA and 17.1 percent strikeout rate over 16 1/3 innings, while Ross is 2-1 with a 4.64 ERA and 20.5 percent strikeout rate. Neither matchup is great for fantasy, so managers can go ahead and ignore them for this turn through the rotation.
