Nationals Interested in Raisel Iglesias and Matt Harvey
6 years agoThe Washington Nationals are interested in Cincinnati Reds pitchers Matt Harvey and Raisel Iglesias, according to Jon Heyman of Fan Cred. Harvey has been impressive since being dealt to Cincy, compiling a 4-3 record with a 3.86 ERA. Over his last three starts, Harvey has pitched to a 3-0 record with a 1.47 ERA. If he could continue his success, he would be a nice end-of-the-rotation starter for the Nationals and could be someone to monitor in fantasy due to his increased run support. Iglesias would give the Nats another phenomenal bullpen arm, as he has pitched to a 2.45 ERA with 16 saves and a 41/13 K/BB ratio. If Iglesias were moved, his value would diminish, though, as he would no longer be in line for saves. For now, both Harvey and Iglesias should be monitored with the Nats being a potential suitor as we approach the deadline.
