3 years agoThe Washington Nationals are open to trading anyone on their roster with the exception of outfielder Juan Soto, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network. This includes starting pitcher Max Scherzer — who has expressed that he is open to being traded but will make use of his 10-5 rights to veto trades if necessary — and shortstop Trea Turner, who Heyman says is available due to the team being unable to secure a contract extension with Turner in previous talks. It looks like the Nationals have decided they are sellers at this deadline, and it will be interesting to see who ends up where, as any deals that Washington makes will assuredly have significant implications in fantasy.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
