6 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Nazem Kadri recorded two assists during a 5-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday night. Kadri has no goals and four assists through his first five games. Out of anybody on the Leafs, Kadri perhaps benefitted the least with the addition of John Tavares. After back-to-back seasons with 32 goals, Kadri has been reduced to a defensive role on the third line. While he still sees time with the top power-play unit, it will be hard for him to reach the lofty goal totals he has hit the two previous years. Regardless, Kadri is still a serviceable C3 for fantasy purposes.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
