2 years agoColorado Avalanche center Nazem Kadri has undergone thumb surgery and it's likely that he will miss the rest of the playoffs. The Avalanche had already ruled the forward out for the rest of the Western Conference Finals after he was hurt early in Game 3. Colorado had no trouble cruising to a 4-2 win without Kadri, but he will still be a big miss. The 31-year-old has been in superb form throughout the season and notched 14 points in 13 games in the playoffs before getting injured. There's a pretty big hole to fill in the middle now and it looks like Mikko Rantanen might shift to center again as he did at times during the regular season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
