7 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz (elbow, foot) is back in the lineup again Thursday afternoon, per mlb.com. Cruz returned to the lineup Wednesday night after missing several games with a sore elbow and foot. He went 0-for-4 Wednesday night and the hope is that he is healthy enough to contribute to an injury-ravaged Mariners lineup. It has been a tough start to the season for the veteran slugger, and he is hitting only .221 with seven home runs and 18 runs batted in through 131 at-bats. Cruz may need a few games to get back into a rhythm but deserves the benefit of the doubt fantasy-wise due to his long track record of success.--Joey C - RotoBaller
