4 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's extra-inning loss to the Mariners. Cruz's third-inning blast registered an exit velocity of 105 MPH, as he continues to be one of the league's very best at putting the barrel of the bat to the ball. The soon-to-be 41-year-old slugger seems to be picking up right where he left off when he was red-hot for the entirety of the shortened 2020 season, as he is batting .458 with four long-balls and nine RBI so far this season.
