5 years agoUpdating a previous report, Minnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (wrist) is day-to-day with a strained left wrist. Cruz strained the wrist on a swing during Thursday night's 7-5 loss to the Cleveland Indians and was removed from the game. The veteran slugger spent time on the injured list earlier in the season with a similar injury but it is a positive sign that the team is calling him day-to-day. Cruz has been red-hot at the plate of late and will be needed, both by fantasy owners and the Twins, who are just one game ahead of the Indians in the American League Central.--Matt T - RotoBaller
