7 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz (foot) is dealing with a bone bruise on his foot after fouling a ball off his foot on Saturday night, according to manager Scott Servais. However, Cruz plans to play through the injury with the team trying to make the playoffs in the final month. The big bopper had a single, RBI and strikeout in four plate appearances on Sunday and is hitting .263 with 33 homers, 60 runs scored and 84 RBI on the season.
