3 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz went 2-for-4 with a home run in Sunday's loss to the Houston Astros. Cruz ripped a 112.6 MPH single in his first at-bat, then later sent a ball 388 feet into the seats at 109.2 MPH for his 13th long ball of the season. The veteran slugger has now belted three home runs in his last four games and is on fire at the dish in June. Cruz will turn 41 in July but, he continues to defy the rules of aging, as he ranks among the 20 best hitters in baseball this season in slugging percentage. Fantasy managers should continue to enjoy the returns from Cruz, even if the Twins fall further in the standings.--Tim Capurso
