4 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz enjoyed his second two-homer game of the season in Wednesday's loss to Oakland. Cruz hit a couple of no-doubters- the first registered a 110.1 MPH exit velocity, the 63rd 110-plus MPH homer of his career, second to only Giancarlo Stanton. He now has six homers and a 1.142 OPS so far in 2021. Unfortunately, the 40-year-old slugger did have to exit the game late as he was in pain from a sore foot that was hit by a pitch in Tuesday's game. Cruz will get a much-needed day off on Thursday as the Twins travel back home for a three-game set against the Pirates, though fantasy managers will have to check for updates to see if he's in the lineup for Friday's game.--Tim Capurso
