6 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz will have a handful of games in the final week of the season to pad his stats. Cruz is hitting only .229 in the month of September with only five extra-base hits over his last 70 at-bats. The veteran has enjoyed another solid season, pumped up by his .301 batting average hitting with runners in scoring position. Cruz can stack home runs in a short span of time better than most so he will have plenty of value in the final week of the regular season. Through 495 at-bats, Cruz is slashing .261/.346/.517 with 17 doubles, 36 home runs, 67 runs scored and 92 runs batted in.--Joey C - RotoBaller
