3 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Monday's 3-2 win over the White Sox. Cruz put the Twins on the board in the sixth inning with a solo home run to left, a line-drive shot that headed towards the seats at 99.8 MPH. He later added a sacrifice fly to give his club the lead. Cruz has been outstanding this season, producing a .302/.379/.551 slash line with 19 homers, 49 RBI, and 43 runs scored. The veteran slugger will play one more game at Chicago before getting seven games at Target Field. He owns a .959 OPS with 46 homers in 162 career games at home as a member of the Twins.--Tim Capurso
