4 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz put on a show on Sunday afternoon against the Chicago White Sox. Cruz went 4-for-5 with two home runs, two doubles, seven RBI and four runs scored in a 14-2 victory. The 40-year-old becomes the fourth-oldest player with 7+ RBI in a game, joining Stan Musial, Jason Giambi and Reggie Jackson. He was absolutely tagging balls all afternoon, as his second homer had an exit velocity of 108.3 MPH. Cruz is on fire to start the season, slashing a ridiculous .538/.571/1.385 with three home runs and 10 RBI. Fantasy managers should sit back and enjoy this hot streak for as long as it lasts. Up next for Cruz is a Tuesday matchup at home against Carlos Martinez and the St. Louis Cardinals.--Tim Capurso
