7 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz will return to the lineup on Thursday, per cbssports.com. Cruz has missed the past week with a quad injury and hopes to get back into game shape by Opening Day. Cruz is, by far, the most productive bat in the Mariners lineup and can carry an offense for weeks at a time. In order for Seattle's offense to rebound this season they need health and production from veteran bats like Cruz and Robinson Cano.
