4 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and one strikeout. Cruz played the role of rally extender in this one, reaching on an infield single in the first and following a Jorge Polanco single with another one of his own in the seventh. Fantasy owners will take this performance from Cruz and should expect another good one from him on Saturday. The 40-year-old will face lefty Dallas Keuchel on Saturday. Cruz was a terror against left-handed pitching in 2019, registering a 1.207 OPS in 140 plate appearances. He'll have a good chance of slugging his first home run of the 2020 campaign.--Tim Capurso
