Nelson Cruz Scratched With Neck Stiffness
3 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (neck) has been scratched from Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals because of a stiff neck, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Miguel Sano is the DH with Alex Kirilloff at first base. Cruz's fantasy managers should consider the slugger day-to-day for now and await further updates. The 41-year-old has been predictably productive as a power source, hitting .306 this season with 18 home runs and 45 RBI. Though he missed some time in 2019 due to injuries, he has been mostly healthy in recent years and hasn't slowed down much at all.
