4 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (knee) is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Cruz has not appeared in a game since Friday due to soreness in his knee. The 40-year-old slugger is considered day-to-day, but with the postseason approaching, the Twins will probably play it safe. In his absence, Ryan Jeffers is serving as the team's DH and will bat eighth against Tarik Skubal. He is not a recommended fantasy play in any format.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
